Our Story

The concept of ChangeIt® emerged from a random daily activity… pumping gas! While filling up on gas, a co-founder noticed a gentleman at a near gas pump scrupulously attempting to pump as close as he could to the nearest dollar. The funny thing was that he was paying with his credit card so it wasn’t really necessary since he wouldn’t exactly end up with a pocket full of loose change… and so came the concept of Virtual Change®! From this, Virtual Change® and the ChangeIt® program were born – a simple and powerful way to generate new revenue for charitable organizations with Virtual Change® from everyday transactions.
